PURPOSE:To rapidly heat and dry a green sheet containing ceramic powder, solvent which is formed on a carrier sheet without spot. CONSTITUTION:A green sheet 2 formed by coating a carrier sheet 3 in a thickness of about 1mm with a sheet material 1 containing ceramic powder, solvent and binder is sent to a high frequency induction heater 5, and high frequency induction-heated to be dried. Then, the powder, the solvent having high dielectric constants of the sheet 2 generate heated by a dielectric loss due to application of a high frequency electric field to heat the sheet 2 therein, the solvent therein is scattered to dry the sheet 2 in a short time without drying spot. In this case, since the sheet 3 integral with the sheet 2 has low dielectric constant, it is not high frequency induction-heated, and its shape is held, and hence a thickness of the sheet 2 thereon is stably maintained.
