Summary:PURPOSE:To massively produce the subject fertilizer-mixed culture substrate in an aseptic state in a process by mixing a culture substrate with the fertilizer under stirring in a mixing container, adding water to control the water content, thermally sterilizing the mixture and subsequently cooling the treated mixture to a temperature suitable for the inoculation of spawns. CONSTITUTION:A culture substrate such as saw dust and a fertilizer such as rice bran are charged from a charging port 4 into a mixing container 1, stirred and mixed with a stirrer 12, and further mixed with water from a water spraying nozzle 21 to control the water content. Steam is supplied into a chamber 24 from a steam source to heat the materials and raise the inner pressure of the mixing container for the thermal sterilization of the culture substrate and the fertilizer, and cold air is subsequently blown from an air blowing port 28 into the mixing container to cool the culture substrate and the fertilizer to a temperature suitable for the inoculation of spawns.
