Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce noise generated by vibration by a method wherein a rear plate of a blower is overlapped to a rear surface of a casing and fixed to it. CONSTITUTION:As an electrical motor 33 for a blower 7 is driven, air is sucked from a suction port 37 of the blower 7 through a suction panel and air is blown from an air blowing port 35 in an upward direction. Air blown from the blower 7 passes through a heat exchanger and heat exchanged air is blown from a blowing port of a blowing panel. Although vibration of the electrical motor 33, a vane wheel 31 or blown air during an operation of the blower 7 are apt to be transmitted to a rear surface 6 of a casing 3, the rear surface 6 is reinforced to restrict the vibration due to the fact that the rear plate 34 of a fan case 29 is overlapped on the rear surface 6 so as to make a substantial double structure. Accordingly, noise caused by the driving operation of the blower 7 is reduced.
