Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous lock in a complicated distribution system by a method wherein, when circuit breakers which have been cut off due to a ground fault are being closed sequentially and the ground fault is caused again, the circuit breakers which have not been closed during a closing delay are set to a closing-prohibition preparation state and a closing prohibition is decided when an electric current is restored from a reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:An electric current is supplied to three systems composed of section circuit breakers DM1 to DM10 via a breaker FCB 3 from a substation 1. When a ground fault is caused in, e.g. a section 3, the FCB 3 is opened and set to a service interruption state, and substitution times 10S, 40S, 50S which have been set are clocked by a timer. Then, the section circuit breakers are closed sequentially, and the electric current is restored. However, when the ground fault continues, the service interruption is caused again. At this time, the circuit breakers DM6 to DM10 which have not been closed are set to a closing-prohibition preparation state. When the electric current is supplied from a reverse direction to the circuit breakers DM5, DM4 via an interchanged circuit breaker D from other systems, the closing prohibition is decided. Thereby, only the circuit breakers at a later stage in the section of an accident are closing-prohibited even in a complicated system provided with a branch system, and it is possible to prevent other circuit breakers in the branch system from being locked erroneously.
