PURPOSE:To obtain an illuminated rotary operation electronic part, which is used for an audio machine and the like, with which the position of rotary operation of a knob can be recognized by the light of a built-in light-emitting element, which can be coped easily with the change of a control shaft, also whose control shaft can resist large pressing force added to it, and obtain the structure in which the light of the light-emitting element is effectively collected at the tip of the control shaft. CONSTITUTION:By having the construction in which a transparent resin revolving body 44, having an engaging hole 41 for driving of the pivotal range controlling stopper 39 of a control shaft 38 and a variable resistor part 31 on the circumference and also having a recess 42 in the center and a convex lens part 43 located in front of the recess 42, is fixed by caulking on the back-end part of a hollow cylindrical rotary control shaft 38 having a stepped part 36, which is fitted to and supported by the round hole 35A of a bearing 35 and brought into contact with a bearing tip 35B, on the outer circumference, the control shaft 38 can be manufactured easily by cutting work. By arranging a LED 49 in the rear of the convex lens part 43 of the rotating body 44 which is inserted into through hole 37 of the control shaft 38, the tip of the control shaft can be illuminated effectively.
