Summary:PURPOSE:To achieve that the drop characteristic of an induced voltage at the end part of a coordinate detection line is made linear, to easily correct a detected coordinate value at the end part of the coordinate detection line and to reduce the ineffective region of a coordinate detection face in an electromagnetic induction-type coordinate detection apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An end part (the folded part of a coordinate detection line) 41a in a direction crossing the coordinate detection direction of a coordinate detection line 41 is passed on the plate face of a shielding plate 43 stacked on the rear side of a flat plate 42 on which the coordinate detection line 41 has been laid, the shielding plate 43 is interposed between it and the main part 41b of the coordinate detection line 41, an induced voltage at this part is set to 0, and the influence of an electromagnetic induction is eliminated.
