PURPOSE:To improve the responsibility of a service brake during the stopping of a regenerative brake and to secure its reliability. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle regenerative brake device has a brake valve 2 having a nonfunction domain where output is not generated in the early function domain of a brake pedal 1 and an auxiliary brake valve 3 to act in response to the brake pedal 1 even in the nonfunction domain, and moreover a proportion relay valve 8 which regulates pressure fed from an air reservoir 15 by setting up the output of the auxiliary brake valve 3 as indicated pressure and the output of the brake valve 2 as control pressure and supplys it, and a double check valve 5 to selectively supply the higher one of the outputs of the proportion relay valve 8 and of the brake valve 2 to the service brake, and in addition, a relay valve 9 to supply pressure fed from the air reservoir 14 according to signal pressure, and a double check valve 4 to selectively supply the higher one of the outputs of the brake valve 2 and of the relay valve 9.
