Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the power distribution line carried receiver used for the communication between a master station at a substation and slave stations at each location in which a filter with less stage number, not affected by dispersion in components, requiring no adjustment eliminates noise such as harmonics with respect to a commercial frequency, noise caused in a load connecting to a distribution line and harmonic noise in the vicinity of a signal frequency sufficiently and its demodulation characteristic is improved. CONSTITUTION:The receiver using a current transformer 2 which detects a signal injected to a distribution line and subject to digital modulation to demodulate the signal subject to digital modulation is provided with an analog band pass filter 3 receiving an output of the current transformer 2, an amplifier 4 amplifying an output of the analog band pass filter 3, and an A/D converter 5 A/D-converting an output of the amplifier 4 and also a digital signal processing section 6 using the digital data subject to A/D conversion to demodulate data and to detect the carrier.
