Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a cap seal without wrinkles on the surface thereof, when the molded cap seal is fitted on a container. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 1 with the bottom is formed by use of tin foil or the like. This cylindrical body 1 with the bottom is put on the upper part of the head of a container 2 to be attached thereto and the cap of the container 2. Respective dimensions are decided to satisfy the following relations: {(Bh-Ah)/2Th}=12.5, where Bh mm: the outer diameter of the cylinder 1 at the distance h mm from the bottom 3 of the cylinder, Th mm: the thickness of the cylinder 1, Ah mm: the outer diameter of the container 2 at the distance, h mm: arbitrary figure within the height of cylinder. When such a cylindrical body 1 with bottom is used as a cap seal, even if a hard material like tin foil which is difficult in molding is used to coat or cover the container, such effect that wrinkles seldom arise on the surface is realized.
