Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber cable capable of suppressing the deformation of an optical fiber housing unit. CONSTITUTION:A fiber housing line body 6 having such structure that the outer surface of a side plate 6a and the base of a bottom plate 6b are orthogonally crossed with each other and a groove 6c is provided between the side plates 6a is used. A coated optical fiber tape 7 is housed in the groove 6c of the fiber housing line body 6, thereby constituting the optical fiber housing unit 2. The respective units 2 are aggregated so that the planes of the adjacent fiber housing line bodies 6 are mutually abut on each other.
