Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the two-dimensional light beam scanning device which consists of only a reflection system and includes no relay lens by employing constitution wherein light which is made incident on a concave mirror from one of two mutually conjugate points of the concave mirror passes the other conjugate point even if changing its direction and changes the direction at the conjugate point as the center. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, P1 and P2 are the two conjugate points of the concave mirror 1 and the luminous flux emitted by a laser 2 is reflected by a concave mirror 3 and made incident on a 1st optical deflecting means M at the point P1. This means M is a galvanomirror and reciprocally rotated around an axis which passes the point P1 and is perpendicular to the paper surface of the figure. The luminous flux made incident on the means M, therefore, passes the point P2 after being reflected by the concave mirror 1 even if changing its direction. A 2nd optical deflecting means (galvanomirror) M' is arranged centering on the point P2 and reciprocally rotated around an axis parallel to the paper surface. Thus, the reflected light is deflected in a plane perpendicular to the paper surface and deflected in two dimensions centering on the point P2 to make a scan.
