Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent drop of the catching efficiency of a demister of collision type, by which liquid drops are removed using vanes, by eliminating tray in the direction from which gas flows in, suppressing increase of the installing area, and precluding dropping of liquid drops into the gas. CONSTITUTION:Each vane 2 is installed in such an arrangement that its longer edge has a gradient to the horizontal direction, and a drain port 4 for liquid drops is provided at the trunk 1 can the side where the vane 2 becomes lower. The vanes 2 are supported by the demister trunk 1, and there is no need to provide any tray on the gas inflowing side, so that the installing area for demister can be reduced. Owing to the gradient provided on the vanes 2, liquid drops flow down along the wanes 2, and there is no fear of drops falling into the gas.
