Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic tube setter for suspension firing capable of fixing the firmly held tube without dropping or swinging the suspended tube. CONSTITUTION:A recessed groove 8 is formed in the upper surface of a setter main body 2 for suspending a ceramic tube 1 to hang the tube 1 with both edges of a hanging rod 7 piercing the tube 1 at its upper part. Since the rod 7 is detained by the recessed groove 8, the rod 7 is not moved by the gas pressure of a burner in firing, and the rod is firmly held.
