Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a medicinal composition improved in the water solubility of a slightly water-soluble anthelmintic substance such as a cyclic depsipeptide, PF 1022 substance, and enhanced in the anthelmintic activity. CONSTITUTION:A medicinal composition enhanced in the solubility of an anthelmintic substance in water and in its activity contains a slightly water-soluble anthelmintic substance and either or both of a nonionic surfactant and a fat or oil or their mixture with one kind or more of water-soluble solvents such as polyhydric alcohols. Additives such as a nonionic surfactant and a fat or oil are further added to the medicinal composition in a total amount of >=1 times, preferably 5-50 times, that of the anthelmintic substance.
