Summary:PURPOSE:To improve mounting density by reducing the number of components of a data accumulator in a system for processing an analog signal through introduction of a chip for both A/D and D/A converters, realize high speed operation by making smaller a delay time required for signal transmission between the A/D, D/A converters and a memory to reduce a time margin and prevent malfunction due to external noise by causing internal signal lines of chip to be not easily influenced by external noise. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 3 for converting an analog signal into a digital signal by sampling, a random access memory 1 for storing converted signal and a D/A converter 4 for converting the data read from the memory 1 into an analog signal are formed on a semiconductor chip. As a result, the number of components of a data accumulator can be reduced to improve the mounting density, a time margin required for signal transmission can be reduced to realize high speed operation and malfunction due to external noise can be prevented.
