Summary:PURPOSE:To analyze an electromagnetic field when multi-phase alternating current electric equipment such as a three-phase induction motor, a three-phase synchronizing motor and a three-phase transformer is driven with the multi- phase alternating current voltage source such as the commercial power system. CONSTITUTION:By applying for the Kirchhoff's second law respectively to closed circuits 1 and 2, concerning two mutually independent line currents IR and IT to flow at inductive load elements ZL1-ZL3, a circuit equation including back electromotive forces jomegapsiR, jomegapsiT and jomegapsiS at respective inductive load elements ZL1-ZL3 stipulated by the vector potential of the electro-magnetic field to be analyzed at respective inductive load elements ZL1-ZL3 is obtained, and in place of the conventional exciting current, by using these line currents IR and IT as an unknown variable, the electro-magnetic field is analyzed. The electro-magnetic field analysis can be performed of the multi-phase alternating current circuit which cannot be conventionally analyzed since the alternating current circuit is not mutually independent.
