Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the title detection reagent consisting of a boronic acid derivative containing a dihydroxyboryl group bonded to an enzyme such as peroxidase or alkali phosphatase used as a labeled material and capable of readily measuring in high sensitivity by a general purpose method. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of enzymes such as peroxidase or alkali phosphatase and a boronic acid derivative such as m-aminophenylboronic acid having a dihydroxyboryl group are dissolved in 0.5M boric acid buffer solution (pH 9.0) and both substances are bonded using glutaric aldehyde, etc., and reduced using sodium borohydride to stabilize the bond and then absorbed into an affinity chromatography using an absorbent consisting of a saccharified albumin-immobilized agarose gel and eluted with 2M acetic acid buffer solution (pH 3.0) and the eluted material is put in a cellulose tube, etc., and dialyzed to 0.25M ammonium acetate (pH 9.0) to provide the objective detection reagent for saccharified protein expressed by the formula.
