PURPOSE:To decrease the shorting with the orthogonal scanning wirings existing on the same layer as the lower layer of the signal wirings of the two-layered signal wiring structure of the TFT substrate. CONSTITUTION:The lower layer 8 of the signal wirings is formed of Cr. The orthogonal wirings 1 are formed of Al and further oxide films are formed in an electrolyte by anodic oxidation. The Cr patterns are dissolved by an electrolysis at the time of formation of the oxide films even if the Al patterns are in contact with the Cr patterns at the point of the time when the Al patterns are formed and, therefore, the contact state is eliminated and the shorting is prevented.
