Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a conveying supply device and an automatic supply method enabling a real-time grasp on the state of progress and actual production results process by process. CONSTITUTION:A stacker crane 2a performing the warehousing/delivery of products and inter-shelf movement as its main duties is disposed between plural rows of storage shelves 1a, 1b, and plural installations 4a, 4b... for performing different processes to the respective products are disposed around the plural rows of storage shelves 1a, 1b. Warehousing/delivery work to the storage shelves 1a, 1b and the respective installations 4a, 4b... is performed by stacker cranes 2b, 2c traveling between each installation and each shelf. Because of having direct access to the storage shelves from each process, the flow of products can be made shortest and fastest. This also enables a real-time grasp on the state of progress in each process, makes a work diary paperless, enables the effectivation of lot control, and the like.
