Summary:PURPOSE:To make torque distribution control between right and left wheels while suppressing torque loss and avoiding improper control condition depending on traveling condition, in a right and left drive force adjusting device for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A right and left drive force adjusting device comprises a drive force transmission control mechanism 9, capable of adjusting a drive force of right and left wheels 15 and 16, provided between right and left rotating shafts of a vehicle, a transmission mechanism 30 capable of outputting either of the rotating speeds of right and left rotating shafts after changing speed at a specified gear ratio, a transmission capacity variable control type torque transmission mechanism 12 which transmits drive force between the other rotating shaft side and the output side of the transmission mechanism, and a control means 18 to control the torque transmission mechanism 12. Then a control stop means 18A to stop only drive force transmission control by the torque transmission mechanism on a side where the rotation speed is varied when a rotation speed ratio of the right and left wheels becomes larger than a boundary limit where the rotation speed is varied between the output side and rotating shaft side of the transmission mechanism is provided in the control means.
