Summary:PURPOSE:To make torque distribution control between right and left wheels without being restricted by traveling conditions while suppressing torque loss, etc., in a right and left drive force adjusting device for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A right and left drive force adjusting device comprises a drive force transmission control mechanism 9, capable of adjusting a drive force of right and left wheels 15 and 16, provided between right and left rotating shafts of a vehicle, a transmission mechanism 30 capable of outputting either of the rotating speeds of right and left rotating shafts after changing speed at a specified gear ratio, and a transmission capacity variable control type torque transmission mechanism 12 which transmits drive force between the other rotating shaft side and the output side of the transmission mechanism. Then the gear ratio is set up so that, even if a rotating speed ratio of the right and left wheels is brought to the maximum, the rotating speed at the output side of the transmission mechanism 30 is not varied with that at the other rotating shaft side.
