Summary: | PURPOSE:To keep the high adaptive control accuracy based on the identification of a controlled system and its result despite the deterioration of the exciting performance, i.e., the identifiable conditions caused by a fact that the input and output signals have the fixed value. CONSTITUTION:The adaptive gain is calculated from the input and output signals of a plant 11 (121), and the trace of an adaptive gain matrix is evaluated. The dimension of the parameter to be estimated is reduced with the increase of the trace and then increased with the reduction of the trace respectively (122). Then the parameter the dimension decided in such a manner is estimated (123) and a control parameter is decided based on the estimated parameter (13). Thus the adaptive control is carried out. When the adaptive gain is excessive even through the dimension of the parameter is reduced down to its limit, an identifying signal Id is added and the amplitude of the signal Id is adjusted according to the trace of the adaptive gain matrix. |
