Summary:PURPOSE:To lighten burden on workers and to reduce a construction period in the case the internal wall of the existing tunnel is covered with lining slabs such as concrete slabs, etc., to execute repairing work. CONSTITUTION:After a plurality of concrete slabs 5 are connected to build up a concrete slab unit 5A on built-up pedestals 8 provided to just outsides of an entrance and exit of a tunnel 1, the unit 5A is conveyed to the inside of the tunnel 1 after a waterproof sheet 3 is made to adhere to the whole external surface 5a thereof. The work is repeated, and after a plurality of units 5A are delivered to the inside of the tunnel 1, the ends of the waterproof sheet 3 of the adjacent units 5A are welded hydraulically to each other, and after the adjacent units 5 are joined to each other, they are installed to the internal wall 1a, and leakage of water is cut off with the waterproof sheet. The waterproof sheet 3 is mounted and spread on the external surface 5a of the unit 5A out of the tunnel 1, so that burden on workers are lightened and work is completed within a short period of time.
