Summary:PURPOSE:To stabilize the refrigeration cycle both in cooling and heating in a system using a radiant panel by providing a heat exchanger between two flows of refrigerant as a means of superheating the flow from the radiant cooling panel and supercooling the flow from the radiant heating panel. CONSTITUTION:In cooling, liquid refrigerant discharged from an outdoor heat exchanger 7 enters a heat exchanger 21 between two flows of refrigerant where by heat exchange with gaseous refrigerant resulting from vaporization in a radiant cooling panel 10 the liquid refrigerant is supercooled whereas the gaseous refrigerant is superheated; thus a degree of superheat of the refrigerant easily results. An indoor heat exchanger 13 provided in parallel with the radiant cooling panel effects convective cooling. In heating, liquid refrigerant resulting from condensation through discharge of heat to the indoor air at an indoor heat exchanger 13 works to effect convective heating and then flows into a radiant heating panel 4 where it effects radiant heating of the room. The liquid refrigerant, which, after this radiant heating, absorbs heat and vaporizes at the outdoor heat exchanger 7, undergoes heat exchange with the vaporized refrigerant at a heat exchanger 26 between two flows of refrigerant, causing itself to be supercooled and the vaporized refrigerant to be superheated. Thus, following the outflow from the radiant heating panel, the liquid refrigerant undergoes a good super cooling.
