Summary:PURPOSE:To improve comfortability by minimizing deterioration of accelerating/ decelerating performance of an electric vehicle due to idling or slip thereby suppressing operational delay. CONSTITUTION:The readhesion controller comprises a plurality of function generators 9 for storing the restricting amount or ratio of at least one of motor current command or frequency command as a function of the difference therebetween, a reference frequency selector 7 for selecting the lowest or highest frequency, respectively, during powering or braking as a reference frequency among the rotational frequencies of respective motors 2 detected through a pulse generator 3 and an r.p.m. operating unit 4, and a subtractor 8 for determining the difference between the reference frequency and the rotational frequency of the motor 2, wherein predetermined outputs are obtained from the function generators 9 depending upon each difference thus determined and each motor is controlled by restricting any one of commands therefor.
