PURPOSE:To mechanize the lashing of a container by moving a lashing hook in the container outside into a changeable position of a condition in which the hook is engaged with a deck for loading container or with a lashing rod of the other container, and of a condition in which the hook is put into the inside and is locked, and by carrying out the operation by an operator outside of the container. CONSTITUTION:A lashing hook 8 is provided in a container 1, which is changeable by operating a rod 4, into a lashing condition in which the hook is engaged with a lashing rod 3 of the container 1, and into a condition in which the hook is pulled into the container 1 and is locked as it is. The lashing and release thereof of the container 1 is remote-controlled by the lashing hook 8 by operating the rod 4 from outside. Since the lashing work is completed automated, the time for loading work is shortened and the labor force can be saved. Lashing work between the containers or between the container and a ship can be carried out freely by operating a spreader.
