Summary:PURPOSE:To produce the pipe made of an aluminum composite material having the strength to make the pipe sufficiently usable as frames or parts, etc., of vehicles by combining wires for reinforcement with an aluminum pipe. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum pipe 1 having internally expanded grooves 3 at the outer peripheral edge is formed by extrusion working. The wires 2 for reinforcement are inserted to a required length into the internally expanded grooves 3 of the pipe 1. The pipe 1 having the wires 2 for reinforcement is so worked and deformed that its outside shape contracts, by which the wires 2 for reinforcement are fixed to the pipe 1.
