Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent a sliding member from being lost in an anti-seismic device, where the sliding member is relatively slid between a strut for supporting an article to be supported and a mounting surface, on which the article to be supported is mounted, in order to exhibit an antiseismic effect. CONSTITUTION:An anti-seismic device 20 is such constituted that a sliding member 23 interposed between a floor 26 and a strut 22 slidably abuts against the strut 22 and the floor 26. The anti-seismic device 20 is provided with through holes 30 formed sideways on a flange 29 erected in the sliding member 23; through holes 31 formed on the strut 22 in such a manner as to penetrate sideways in correspondence to the through holes 30; and a fixing pin 32 to be inserted into the through holes 30, 31 for fixing the strut 22 to the sliding member 23.
