Summary:PURPOSE:To enable a loop not overlapped on a web to be formed and to enable its subsequent heat treatment to be performed well by a method wherein a web being transported is blown up with gas injected by an injection means, dropped and received on a net conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A web transported through a guide roll 22 is transported and guided along an inclined guide plate 24 and blown up upwardly as well as slantly with air injected from an injection part 26 arranged at a lower part of the guide plate 24. The extremity end of the web W blown up strikes against a slant part of an abutting plate 30 and is dropped onto a net conveyor 12 while its blowing-up height being restricted. Since the net conveyor 12 is driven at a slower speed than a guiding speed sent by the guide roll 2, the web W is over-fed. The web W fallen onto the net conveyor 12 in a lateral direction is floated in a wave-form with hot air injected from nozzles 18 and 20 and then the web is heat treated such as drying and the like.
