Summary:PURPOSE:To maintain safety without using a complicated safety controller by reducing power consumption of a pump while reducing a cost in a liquid fuel burning apparatus in which oil of one oil tray is transferred to the other oil tray. CONSTITUTION:The liquid fuel burning apparatus comprises a first oil tray 35 for storing oil to be supplied to a burning part 32 of a burner, etc., a first oil tank 36 for supplying oil to the tray 35, a second oil tray 37, and a second oil tank 38 for supplying oil to the tray 37. The oil of the tray 37 is transferred to the tray 35 through a pump 41 and an oil feed tube 42. The pump 41 is composed of a pump having no check valve. The tube 42 is raised at one end 42A coupled to the pump 41 above the pump 41, disposed at the other end 42C in the tray 35 to be dipped in steady oil level of the tray 35, and located at an intermediate part 42B lower than a position corresponding to the steady level of the tray 35.
