Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the subject copolymer useful for molded articles, etc., having a high grafting efficiency, excellent adhesiveness, coating performances, printability, antistatic properties and compatibility by polymerizing a radically polymerizable monomer in the presence of a specific unsaturated copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(B) A radically polymerizable monomer such as styrene is radically polymerized in the presence of (A) an unsaturated copolymer composed of a copolymer consisting of (i) ethylene or a 3-20C alpha-olefin and (ii) preferably 0.005-10 mol% (based on compound (i)) dialkeylbenzene of the formula (each of R and R is a 1-6C hydrocarbon; (m) is 0 or 1; (n) is 0-2) such as 1-pheny1-1-(4-vinylphenyl)ethylene to give the objective copolymer.
