Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a print array of an ion print head capable of long lifetime by providing control electrodes which are chemically stable with respect to corrosive gas to be generated at generation of ion due to corona discharge. CONSTITUTION:Control electrodes 31 arranged dependently on density of picture element and a drive circuit for inputting drive signal to those control electrodes 31 in accordance with image information are formed on a substrate. A print array 3 is arranged such that it faces a passage of ion current to be jetted to a recording member 2 from an ion print head. The control electrode 31 is made of nitrogen titanium or titanium carbide.
