Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a waste material melting furnace having a hot melt spout structure for effective utilizing combustible gas injected by a method wherein extracted molten material is kept with its superior fluidized state, and a stable operation of the furnace is carried out and a gradual cooling of the extracted molten material is realized. CONSTITUTION:In a waste material melting furnace 10 in which chlorine adjusting agent and block-like carbonic fuel are loaded from a top part to waste material A, combustion gas is blown from a tuyere 4 arranged at a lower position than that of the tuyure at a lower part, the loaded waste materials are melted and made slug and then a pre-furnace enclosing the hot melt spout 4 and receiving the extracted molten material is installed and then the hot melt spout 4 is directed within the pre-furnace and the combustion gas blowing nozzle is arranged.
