Summary:PURPOSE:To safely and quickly construct the shield wall of a housing for nuclear reactor without setting up a scaffolding around the outer peripheral surface of a liner by moving a gondola in the peripheral, upward and downward, forward and backward directions along the centripetal direction of the liner by moving turning bases in the peripheral direction of the liner. CONSTITUTION:A liner 1 for housing a pressure vessel for nuclear reactor, etc., has a sealed structure in order to prevent scattering of radioactive substances to the outside and its shielding lid is closed as shown by the dot lines 3 after a pressure vessel is assembled. A working gondola device 2 is used as a scaffolding for constructing a shield wall W to be constructed for improving the safety of liner 1 further. This gondola device 2 is constituted of running rails 6 and 7 provided horizontally on a collar-like construction base 5 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the liner 1, turning bases 8 and 9 placed on the rails 6 and 7, and gondolas 9 and 9 hung from the bases 8 and 8. Therefore, the gondolas 9 and 9 can be moved along the centripetal direction of the liner 1 when the turning bases 8 and 8 are turned and the hanging ropes are adjusted.
