Summary:PURPOSE:To realize soldering with an alloy fixed in a predetermined position so as to prevent misalignment, falling-off or the like and facilitate automation of a production line by using a solder having a shape almost resembling the letter H viewed in plan. CONSTITUTION:In securing an alloy 5 having a low melting point to a bridge core of a fuse base 4 by soldering, the bridge core is fitted into a fitting groove 6 formed on the alloy 5 so that the upper surface of the alloy 4 is tightened under pressure. In a solder 8 having a shape almost resembling the letter H viewed in plan, an intermediate connecting portion 8a thereof is mounted on the bridge core, to be secured to the bridge core simultaneously with the tightening work of the upper surface of the alloy 5 under pressure. Accordingly, the solder 8 is fixed in position, thus preventing misalignment, falling-off and generation of defective products. Additionally, products can be sufficiently checked only by a random sample test because visual inspection of all products is unnecessary. Furthermore, since the solder 8 is handled as one part having an almost H-shape, an automation process is applicable and a production process can be saved in manpower.
