Summary: | PURPOSE:To raise the colorfulness of a steel sheet pile by a method in which the outer surface (projected face) of a steel sheet pile subjected to base treatments is covered with an electron beam cross-linked colored polyolefin layer as anticorrosive layer through a modified polyolefin adhesive, and the outer surface is further subjected to a reforming treatment and laminated with color paint films. CONSTITUTION:The outer surface (projected face) of a steel sheet pile 1 is subjected to a blasting treatment to remove rust, and laminated with a chromate film 2 and an epoxy resin primer layer 3 in order for base treatments. The surface is further subjected to a surface reforming treatment through a modified polyolefin adhesive layer 4, containing four components, a specific hindered amine UV stabilizer, a benzotriazole UV absobent, a phenolic antioxidant, and a colorant, for preventing surface deterioration by UV. The surface is further laminated with an electron beam cross-linked colored polyolefin layer 5 treated by flame to keep the concentration of oxygen at 10% or more and then with colored paint films 6 such as fluororesin paint. The colorfulness of the sheet pile 1 can thus be raised. |
