PURPOSE:To provide the facsimile equipment by which a relay request station makes quick and sure relay multiple address communication in place of a faulty relay multiple address communication station by registering a relay multiple address communication destination list to the relay request station in advance. CONSTITUTION:When any of relay multiple address communication station facsimile equipments B-D receiving a multi-stage relay request or a facsimile equipment A making a relay request by the user operation makes a call to a subordinate relay multiple address communication station for the relay request transmission and when the relay multiple address communication station does not reply due to a reason such as a fault regardless of redialing for a prescribed number of times, a system controller 12 reads a reception station number storing the telephone number from a management information memory 13 and writes the station number to the management information memory 13 as transmission wait destination information and executes the multiple address communication in place of the relay request transmission.
