Summary: | PURPOSE:To stabilize the collection of solution samples so as to continuously analyze a catalyst component with accuracy by constituting a sample weighing section of a six-way valve provided with a sample supplying port, alkaline solution supplying port, and cleaning liquid supplying port. CONSTITUTION:When a supplied 1 sample solution is retained in a sample retaining loop 2 and a six-way valve 3 is switched as shown by the dotted lines, the sample solution is carried to an analyzer A by means of a diluting liquid. Then the valve 3 is returned to the state shown by the solid lines and, before supplying the sample solution, deposits of terephthalic acid adhering to the flow passage from the sample supplying port 1 to the valve 3 are dissolved and removed by supplying an alkaline solution, for example, 0.1-N to 2-N aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide from an alkaline solution supplying port 5 and, in addition, the alkali is washed away by supplying 6 a cleaning liquid to the flow passage. When such processes are provided, solution samples can be stably collected, because deposits of terephthalic acid, etc., which make quantitative weighing difficult with analysis disturbing components or by blocking the flow passage can be removed. |
