Summary: | PURPOSE:To avoid the interference of a clamp cable with an expensive structure after its release by attaching a member being stronger in bending rigidity than a clamp cable body to the clamp cable along its axial direction using a fastener. CONSTITUTION:A clamp cable 1 is set on an artificial satellite 5 so as to hold a solar battery paddle 3, and tensile force to generate holding force necessary for holding the solar battery paddle 3 is added to the clamp cable 1. After the tensile force is added, a piano wire 6 is partially attached to the clamp cable 1 in its axial direction through a fasterner 7. In this case, material being stronger in bending rigidity than the clamp cable 1 is used for the piano wire 6. Thus, since the piano wire 6 is attached along the clamp cable 1, after the clamp cable 1 to hold an expansive structure is released, the piano wire 6 increases the bending rigidity of the cable 1 to prevent the local deformation of the cable 1 during the flight of the satellite 5. |
