Summary:PURPOSE:To positively change over a recording paper path, prevent recording paper from being caught by the recording paper path, and obtain superior recording paper insertion properties, feed properties, printing quality, and the like by a method wherein a recording paper path change-over plate of an equipment, to which recording paper can be separately inserted from two opposed sides, is held by an appropriate spring force. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary guide 10 rotatably held by an appropriate spring force of an auxiliary guide spring 12 is disposed in the vicinity of a confluence of a first recording paper path and a second recording paper path. First recording paper 1 is guided to a paper feed roller 3 by the auxiliary guide 10. The rotatable auxiliary guide 10 is rotated in a direction of an arrow A by the insertion force of second recording paper 2. Thus, the second recording paper 2 is linearly guided along a printing surface 13. In this manner, a recording paper path can be normally changed over.
