PURPOSE:To hold a folded part of a cable, and reduce a necessary space for cable wiring by devising a clamp for a flat cable widely used for wiring devices. CONSTITUTION:A holding plate 11-1 formed in a rectangular thin plate of a size of a flat cable 2 with guide plates 11-3 added on both sides of it is provided with a folding groove 11-1a formed between one corners facing each other, and a lock receiving hole 11-1b and a lock member 11-s to be stopped to the lock receiving hole 11-1b at the other corners facing each other. The rectangular guide plates 11-3 are fixed between the lock member 11-2 or the lock receiving hole 11-1b and a cut 11-1c almost at an equal interval to the width of the flat cable 2 in parallel with it, and the holding plate 11-1 is folded at the folding groove 11-1a to stop the lock member 11-2 at the lock receiving hole 11-1b. The folded and direction-changed flat cable 2 can thus be held.
