Summary:PURPOSE:To accurately move a figure at a high speed by temporarily storing the position coordinates of one prescribed point where a cursor is displayed and successively updating and storing the position coordinates in the direction to the position pointed with an input pen. CONSTITUTION:When a segment A'B' is coupled to a segment CD, the input pen is placed at a point E on the extension connecting the point B' and the point C to which the point B' should be moved. The stored position of the point B' is changed toward the pointed position point E by one unit of a minimum resolution of a display device and is stored at each time of one pen down operation, and the cursor is displayed to follow this position. Thus, the pressing operation of the input pen to the display picture is repeated to move the point B' little by little, and this point is moved to the point of the desired accurate position C. When the point B' reaches the point C of the desired position, the pen is quickly pressed to the display picture twice to join the segment A'B' and the segment CD into one line.
