PURPOSE:To enable only one person in charge of testing to readily perform the work of diagnosing the armature coil of a DC motor. CONSTITUTION:An armature-diagnosing measuring probe 1 is provided with a measurement/checking directing switch 2, a directing switch 3 for setting and checking the segment of an armature to be tested, and a segment setter 4, and a person in charge of testing is allowed to make the armature-diagnosing measuring probe 1 to abut on a segment while making sure the number of the corresponding segment directly. An armature diagnostic unit comprises a data detection transmitting device A for transmitting by radio measurement signals sent from the armature-diagnosing measuring probe 1, a data processing guidance directing device B which compares the subject segment of each measurement with a measurement signal so as to determine whether the set value is good or bad and which then converts the result into a voice signal and transmits it, and a voice receiving device C for receiving the voice signal.
