Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a simulation method for power system protective relay in which the number of protective relays to be simulated is reduced and the time for deciding the operation of protective relay is shortened by taking account of the system and the priority of the protective relay to be simulated CONSTITUTION:A block 13 for limiting the protective relays to be simulated depending on the type of fault and a block 14 for determining the priority of thus limited protective relays constitute a simulation object system selecting block 12 for protective relays limited in a simulation object section limiting block, and simulation is carried out sequentially starting from one having highest priority.
