Summary: | PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for an alignment operation by a method wherein an outer lead which has been magnetized to a first pole or a second pole is attracted automatically to and aligned with a terminal which is situated in a corresponding position and which has been magnetized to the second pole or the first pole. CONSTITUTION:An attractive force acts between outer leads 2 which have been magnetized to the S-pole or the N-pole and terminals 4 which are situated in positions corresponding to the outer leads 2 and which have been magnetized to the N-pole or the S-pole. On the other hand, a repulsive force acts between the outer leads 2 which have been magnetized to the S-pole or the N-pole and the terminals 4 which are adjacent to the terminals 4 in the positions corresponding to the outer leads 2 and which have been magnetized to the S-pole or the N-pole. Consequently, the outer leads 2 which have been magnetized to the S-pole or the N-pole are attracted automatically to the terminals 4, in the corresponding position, which have been magnetized to the N-pole or the S-pole. As a result, the outer leads 2 can be aligned easily with the terminals 4. Thereby, the time required for an alignment operation can be shortened, and the time required for completing a process can be shortened in the mounting method of an electronic device. |
