Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an automobile automatic transmission device which allows a select lever to be smoothly operated from a P range without generating noises. CONSTITUTION:When an R range is shifted to a P range, a release completion point TF which is the termination of an oil pressure generation range HR for R oil pressure is spaced from the starting point of a parking lock range so that the oil pressure generation range HR will not overlap with the parking lock range HL. With this constitution, reverse direction torques no longer cause, elastic deformation in a power train or a suspension system during parking locking, thus preventing a parking lock mechanism from being forcibly engaged.
