PURPOSE:To achieve washing of the whole tires without leaving any unwashed parts by providing a control means which starts washing of tires when the traveling position given by a traveling position detecting means reaches the starting position given by a setting means, and finishes the tire washing when the traveling position reaches the finishing position. CONSTITUTION:A comparison is made between the traveling position of a car washing machine body 1 and the position where the delay of the wash starting expected from the wash starting position is estimated, and when these positions are equal, the traveling speed of the car washing machine body 1 is reduced through a speed variable circuit. A high pressure pump 15 is driven, and at the same time, washing is started by actuating the swaying means. When it is recognized that the car is not in the wash starting position, a comparison is made between the traveling position and the wash finishing position, and if these are equal, the traveling speed of the car washing machine body 1 is increased to make the standard speed, and the tire washing is stopped. In particular, washing within a longitudinally extensive range is achieved by using a pair of washing nozzles 10 from the detected position on the basis of the detected signal from object detecting means 16, 16'.
