Summary:PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the size of the main body of a visible laser beam oscillator and to enable the oscillator to make pulse oscillation by modulating an electric current supplied to a visible laser beam diode by using the visible laser beam diode as the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A visible laser beam diode 3 is connected to a laser diode drive circuit 2 and a DC power source 1 for supplying a DC voltage is connected to the circuit 2. Then an optical fiber 5 connected with an incident optical section 4 for making a visible laser beam oscillated from the diode 3 to incident and emitting optical section 6 for making the visible laser beam emitted from the fiber 5 to form an image is fitted to the diode 3. When the power source 1 is turned on, an automatic optical output control circuit 8 in the drive circuit 2 is actuated and a visible laser beam diode 10 oscillates a visible laser beam. A photodiode 9 detects part of the visible laser beam and feeds back the detected result to the control circuit 8.
