Summary:PURPOSE:To finish anti-skid control when the operation of a brake is reduced in an anti-skid controller provided with an energy source for supplying large brake energy regardless of the operational condition of the brake. CONSTITUTION:The hydraulic pressure of an accumulator is controlled by an electromagnetic hydraulic pressure control valve, and is output to a brake cylinder, and the rotation of a wheel is suppressed. At the time of normal braking, an aimed hydraulic pressure PB determined based on pedalling force FB of a brake pedal is defined as output hydraulic pressure PO at the time of normal braking (S12). When a condition for starting anti-skid control is satisfied, an aimed hydraulic pressure PA at the time of anti-skid control is determined (S14) based on a deviation (e) of wheel velocity, and is thus defined the output hydraulic pressure PO (S17). When the aimed hydraulic pressure PA exceeds the aimed hydraulic pressure PB, the aimed hydraulic pressure PB is defined the output hydraulic pressure PO, and anti-skid control is finished thereby (S19, S20), and braking is operated according to the intention of the driver.
