In a recirculating ball type power steering where torque is aided by a control valve 20 which is operated with torque and a hydraulic actuator whose operation is controlled by the control valve 20, a hydraulic motor 30 which can rotate in a normal and reverse directions and is disposed coaxially with a sector shaft 15 serves as a hydraulic actuator, and a sector shaft 15 serves as an output shaft of the hydraulic motor.
